ELECTION RESULTS ARE IN!

Elections of board members have been conducted and we are pleased to announce the winners of the elections as follows:

Chairperson: Charlie Jamieson
Vice Chair: Ron Bornstein
Secretary: Pam Wynn
Treasurer: Stephen Peritz
Florida Bar Liason: Joe Considine
Webmaster/Information Director: Kevin McNamara

Congratulations and we look forward to another successful and productive year.

Meetings are always the second Wednesday of each month. However, due to holidays and seasonal variables, meetings are occasionally suspended. For example, the December meeting is generally not be held.
Next meeting: August 14, 2008 at 12:00 noon.


Meeting location is generally in West Palm Beach to accomodate all members and guests. Meetings are held at 1615 Forum Place, Suite 500, West Palm Beach, unless otherwise noted.

Meetings generally cover topics such as dissemination of information, public awareness, development of training and seminars, increasing membership and other topics as needed.
Meetings are designed for members and prospective members of Collaborative Divorce Team.
This is not the time or place to meet with a prospective attorney about your case. Since our time is limited, we all to respect this policy. If you have not RSVP'd please do so by calling the office of Charlie Jamieson. Please bring $8 to cover food and beverage costs.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE:

The Florida legislature is considering implementation of formal collaborative law standards and methods. This process is still in the formative stages and work is being done regarding promulgation of appropriate rules regarding standards and training. We will keep you informed as this progresses.
